Weight Management

Overweight and obese people are at a greater risk of heart disease, diabetes, and high blood pressure.  Changes in your diet and increased physical activity can help achieve the right weight but it can be difficult for most people.

The body mass index (BMI) helps in understanding if you are overweight or obese.  BMI is calculated by dividing the weight in kilograms by the height in metres squared.  A BMI of 25.0 to 29.9 means overweight and 30.0 and above means obese.
