Cause & Prevention of Malaria

Transmission of Malaria

Malaria is a disease transmitted through the bite of certain mosquitoes, notably females of the Anopheles species. These mosquitoes carry a tiny parasite that enters your bloodstream when they bite you. This parasite then weakens your body's defences, making you ill.

Antimalarial Treatment

Without proper antimalarial treatment within a specific timeframe, malaria can cause serious illness and may even be fatal.
